Blogging, in my opinion, is a person involved in a personal web blog. Remember as a child when you had a journal and you write down on how your day went and certain life events? Well, I do! and it is similar to blogging. A Blog though is a regularly updated website or webpage which is mostly run by an individual or small group that is typed in an informal or conversational style. A famous name in the Blogging game is Perez Hilton. This man pioneered blogging as a profession he started his empire with just being a celebrity blogger. For celebrity gossip and entertainment there are dedicated fans that stay in tune with his blogs for the juicy details. There are also famous bloggers who have made millions from being a blogger.

WHY SHOULD YOU BLOG?

As a marketing student, I believe it is important for companies to blog. Blogging provides an easy way to keep customers and clients up to date on what 's going on in within their business. It gives customers information in detail about new products, deals and can provide tips and guidelines for using a product. The more a customer reads your blog there is a possibility they will spend on your brand.
